Children will have the opportunity to explore nature, observe plants, insects, and small wildlife, and discover the world around them through engaging hands-on experiences. During the outing, they will take part in a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and active learning. Together, we will enjoy nature walks, group games, observation activities, and opportunities to discuss what we see and learn along the way. These experiences help children develop their social skills, confidence, and appreciation for the natural environment. Outdoor exploration also encourages physical activity and supports children’s overall well-being. Discovering an Apple 🍎

This morning, during our circle time, we took a closer look at an apple. 🍎
We wondered what was inside and how it was made. The children eagerly shared their ideas, predictions, and observations before we carefully cut it open together. As we explored the different parts of the apple, we talked about its skin, flesh, core, and seeds, discovering how each part plays an important role. The children were curious to see what was hidden inside and enjoyed comparing their expectations with what they actually found.
This simple exploration encouraged observation, language development, and critical thinking as the children described colors, textures, shapes, and smells. We also discussed where apples come from, how they grow on trees, and the journey they take before arriving on our tables. Through conversation and hands-on discovery, the children practiced sharing their thoughts, listening to one another, and learning from each other’s ideas.
It was a wonderful opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage questions, and explore the natural world together through a familiar everyday object. 🍎✨
